Meir Panim is committed to preventing poverty, supporting individuals and communities in need across Israel, young, old, women, men, unemployed, holocaust survivors - taking people out of poverty and helping them become self sufficient.

In Israel there are 1.6 million people living in Poverty in Israel at the moment, 850,000 of whom are children, in situations where they dont have enough to have the basic requirements of a dignified existance, or hot meals. 12.5% have both parents working and still remian below the poverty line.

Meir Panim cooperates with hotels, distributes food cards, and helps people buy a little extra, by working at the roots of poverty, through senior citizens clubs and youth clubs to help people live with dignity and attain a self of worth.
