Love makes the world go round, without love, what is the meaning of life?  Some of the most historical moments and great works of literature  have been surrounded by love.. Adam & Eve, Anthony & Cleopatra, Napoleon and Josephine, our own Royal Family.  Movie stars Elizabeth Taylor & Richard Burton, Bogey & Bacall, they fell in love on their first movie together.  As did Angelina Jolie & Bradd Pitt. I am sure everyone can recall a great romance. One of the great literary works Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, and whom can forget Scarlett O'Hara & Rhett Butler in Gone with The Wind.

For us mere mortals love is just as important. However  with the fast moving world we live in, this can prove to be extremely daunting  and  complicated than having a chance  meeting  and finding your soul mate. There are many dating sites available, though this can also prove to be a minefield.  A Shadchan ( personal Matchmaker a person whom will specifically make it their job to find  a love match, but how does one select a good shadchan?   Here is my advice, as a Shadchan with many success  love matches myself

1. Ask about success stories, a good shadchan will have had the gift to match couples long before embarking themselves as a business.

2.  A true Shaddchan welcomes all questions.   If they avoid questions or are evasive  steer clear.

3 . A good Shaddchan will never say.." I cannot find a match for you"  I recently heard this from a new client!!. A true shadchan cares and firmly believes there is someone for everyone.

4 . Are they good at relationship advice ?  The Shadchan will  have a deep understanding  of people and relationships.

5. They answer the phone and messages and do not avoid you . A  shadchan will always keep you informed.

Lastly A little Good Advice

Ladies.. ask yourself if my love were to lose everything will I still love him? if  you cannot hand on heart say yes.. this is not your great love.

Gentleman.. If you had two choices, one was a Cartier package the other was a brown parcel wrapped in string, which would you choose?
