“I was nervous about the band because I know it can make or break a wedding and circumstances as they were, we werent able to see Beat Street before we hired them. I had no need to worry, they were absolutely amazing!!!! From the minute they started our (obscure) first song that they learnt just for us, I relaxed. They were brilliant. They didnt stop all night, the dancefloor was permanently full and the crowd surfing is something everyone still talks about - a climatic end to the evening. The songs were both classics and modern greats but done so well that all catered for all age groups (2 year old nephew to 93 year old grandmother in law). The videos online do not give any indication of how great they can all sing; they are pitch perfect and there are no weak links. They dont try to change songs too much either so if you know it, its easy to sing along. When the guy on the Sax joined in the conga, it was fab but it wasnt a 'watch the band' show; it was 'wow the band are amazing so I can dance'. The dance floor was packed and whenever I glanced over at the band they were jumping in unison. They made the reception brilliant and people constantly tell me how good they thought our were. So much so, beat street have two more gigs planned as a result of playing at my wedding and I know of many more who are hoping to get in touch when it's their time. They are also reasonable people so if they can, they'll drive home that night as opposed to charging you for hotel rooms, breakfast etc. All in all, I highly recommend them. „

“You guys were absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much for all your work, time and amazing professionalism throughout the run up to the wedding and especially on the big day. The bands performance absolutely surpassed our expectations and EVERYBODY loved you guys. I think you may be getting a bar mitzvah gig in Leeds as a result! LOL. Anyway, thanks again Jason and please pass on our thanks and respect to the rest of the band for their amazing energy and performance.„
