Meir Panim

Between 3^rd - 9^th November, we will trek 50km and ride rough in Jeeps for 400km through the Negev desert.  Over five days you will experience another life - the simple and uncomplicated life of the desert.  You'll see breathtaking sights and travel across beautiful terrain - part of which is inaccessible to tourist.  

Expert Bedouin and Israeli guides will help you appreciate the full historical, cultural, religious and ecological significance of what you're seeing while trekking.  Expert tuition will be given for the second part of the Challenge - the Jeep ride, allowing you to enter Jerusalem via the Judean Mountains. For 3 nights you'll have a great dinner around a camp-fire, enjoying the company of your fellow participants, finally sleeping out under the stars; the final 2 nights will be spent in guest houses.

Should you decide to come on the Challenge, you will need to make a significant commitment, in addition to the physical challenge, as you'll need to pay a registration fee of £350 and raise a minimum of £1999 sponsorship.  

What you'll get in return will be one of the most enthralling, challenging and satisfying experiences of your life.

All funds raised by this Challenge will go towards One to One and Meir Panim programmes for children in need in Israel.
