JEWISH RSS LISTINGS ON FACEBOOK (Using Facebook Notes)

(NB: Instead you can use the new Jewpro Facebook Application and have events appear directly onto your facebook profile page.)

1. Open a new browser window or tab and go to www.facebook.com
   
   
2. Login to FACEBOOK as normal
   
   
3. Go to
   http://www.facebook.com/editnotes.php?import
   


4. Paste the following url into the input box
   http://www.jewpro.co.uk/RSS_listings_std.asp?rss_id=25Jul08RSS23243951FA&reader=FACEBOOK


5. Click on confirm import (this should be in the top right hand corner)
   
   
6. CONGRATULATIONS! your Jewpro listings will appear on the MY PROFILE section in FACEBOOK (by the way, the first time you load them in, they may load up twice and look like there are too many listings. This is a FACEBOOK bug and only happens the once.)

• My Notes -> Edit Notes Privacy
• Under ATOM FEED select "Anyone who can see my notes can subscribe to my notes"
• Click on save settings

ADD JEWPRO RSS LISTINGS TO WEBSITES EASILY

1. Go to http://itde.vccs.edu/rss2js/build.php
   
   
2. Enter http://www.jewpro.co.uk/RSS_listings_all.asp?reader=generic&rss_id= in the URL field
   
   
3. Choose the settings you want
   
   
4. Paste the Javascript and HTML into your webpage
